Eighteen international teams will feature in this year’s event, compared to nine last year, and will also feature 10 local teams.
The 28 teams will compete over six divisions - Under 13yrs, U17yrs, U19yrs, Open Ladies, Social Ladies and Open Mixed.
On opening day, the international teams will be treated to a traditional welcome before the first set of round robin games.
Friday will feature the second set of round robin, with Saturday combining the regular season and the playoffs.
On Sunday, a day of rest, teams will go on a lagoon cruise.
Monday resumes the netball competition, and Tuesday is the final day, with a prizegiving scheduled for 6pm at the Islander.
Each match will be played as four quarters of seven minutes, with one, two, and one minute breaks of play between quarters.
In between rounds there will be up to five minutes, with teams required to take the court immediately once a one-minute warning is issued.
The Netball in Paradise tournament is a major fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the Cook Islands netball development.
