Fitness will be the key to winning today’s catch-up premier men’s league games to be held at three venues.

Games postponed from the weekend before Easter will be played out today and after the weekend’s tough games and with business end of the season drawing closer, today’s matches are sure to test the depth and fitness of teams.

At the Titikaveka field, the Bulldogs will be buoyed by their powerful effort in beating defending champions the Tupapa Panthers 14-10 at the weekend.

However, they will face a well-rested Arorangi Bears outfit who are sure to be charged up and ready to rumble.

At the Avatiu Swamp, the Eels will meet the Panthers in what should be an interesting showdown.

The Eels head into the match after a convincing win against the Takuvaine Warriors at the weekend and will face a Panthers side ready to make amends for their minor errors in Saturday’s games.

Meanwhile the Ngatangiia Sea Eagles will fly up to the Happy Valley to take on the Warriors.

All catch-up games on Tuesday kick off at 5pm.

Today’s draw:

Tuesday 14 Titikaveka Bulldogs vs Arorangi Bears at Titikaveka – 5pm Premier, Ref-P Ngaroi assisted by K Kora/ D Crummer (sub-P Robertson).
