Cricketers will be hoping for fine weather this weekend after rain caused a ‘wash out’ in last weekend’s first round of The Computer Man men’s matches.

Cook Islands national women’s captain June George set a record 131 for her club side Turangi in the first match of the Edgewater Resort and Spa women’s cricket season on Saturday.

Excitement and entertainment are on the menu today as the Edgewater Women’s season is in full swing.

The visiting Croatia New Zealand cricket team have been inspiring local cricketers all week and tonight they will have their final tour match against the national men’s cricket team at the BCI Stadium in Nikao.

Two days into their inaugural Cook Islands tour and the Croatia New Zealand cricket team were already feeling part of the local cricketing family.

The Croatia New Zealand cricket team touch down on Rarotonga this weekend to take part in an international series against the Cook Islands.
