COOK ISLANDS women cricketers are regrouping after suffering two first up losses in their Pacific Games campaigns.

Past national cricketers will take to the Turangi cricket field today to assist the present women’s squad in their preparations for the upcoming Pacific Games.

Eight teams took to Turangi Cricket Oval on Saturday for the finals day of The Computer Man sponsored six a side competition.

The Computer Man-sponsored super sixes cricket competition comes to a conclusion today with an afternoon of grand finals cricket for lovers of the game. 

More than 70 kids turned out to Nukupure Park on Queens’ Birthday for Cook Islands Cricket’s kids’ Mini Pacific Games tournament.

 The national women’s cricket team has spent the past four days camping at Pa’s Palace in Ngatangiia in preparation for the upcoming Pacific Games.

There were mixed results in this week’s The Computer Man sponsored six-a-side cricket competition.
