The New Zealand-based umpire is in the country to up skill the Motor Centre-sponsored cricket umpires.
Cook Islands Cricket chief executive officer Alister Stevic says workshops such as this has helped improve the umpiring standards in the country.
“The level of our umpires has really lifted since David’s visit last year. Just like players, umpires make mistakes but their enthusiasm to keep improving is fantastic for the standard of cricket,” Stevic says.
The workshop will take place at the Pukapuka Hostel from 5.30pm.
“Prospective umpires are also encouraged to attend and participate in the practical and enjoyable workshop.”
Meanwhile, The Computer Man Rarotonga Cricket competition round two games were held on Saturday.
