Super sixes head to final showdown

Super six cricketers will return to the pitch this Saturday for the final round of the Super Sixes competition. 

Last Saturday saw loads of action at the Turangi pitch where the women’s team played their games as well as in Titikaveka where big hits were seen in the men’s competition.

The Arorangi women emerged as the top team in the women’s competition with the highlight match being the nail biting draw between Tupapa and Nikao.

Turangi emerged as the top men’s team while Matavera were the best dressed taking to the pitch in colourful pareu attire.

The Rarotonga Cricket Association, who organised the two weekend Super Sixes event are thankful to the teams that turned out for the first Saturday of games and are looking forward to this weekend’s 

cricket action.

This Saturday’s final Super Sixes showdown in both the men’s and women’s division will be held at the Titikaveka sports field starting at 9.30am where any team can take out the tournament.
