Letters: Not about tourism

Friday November 08, 2019 Published in Letters to the Editor

I just don't know what tourism has to do with the same-sex debate.

This is a national debate intended to give the country and its people the chance to determine where they stand on this complex topic.

It’s not up to tourism or visitors to determine.

Our development has shifted significantly to international aid mentality because our development partners understand that our country is frequently vulnerable to natural disasters and the risk from the lack of visitor numbers  – we no longer have anything else to offer to attract tourists, except our hula girls.
