Dear Editor,

I refer to ghost writer “Shippa’s” letter of August 9 headed, “Questions remain on shipping venture”, in which he fabricated rubbish to damage me by quoting statements I made in a letter to Prime Minister Jim Marurai on September 14, 2005.

Firstly, may I ask if your ghost Shippa has the clearance to access a classified letter to the prime minister of this country and not intended for him and secondly, did CINews bother to evidence the letter in question or simply accepted hearsay from this ghost?

Might it be that Shippa is a surrogate of the cartel of the highest order and on a higher pay grade than prime ministers? Anyway let’s park this here for now!

Yes, I did guarantee Papa Solo’s debt and agreed to become a partner in the MISL enterprise and indeed longevity of this arrangement was intended. To to that end I wet leased a ship called the Thor Mette and connected freight traffic to papa’s interisland vessel Mataroa. I did so because the old man asked for help and just what assistance I gave is no-one’s business.

However, when I came back from New Zealand to complete the partnership, that proud old man told me the MISL was his pride and joy and he wouldn’t need my help, so long as Mataroa could carry Thor Mette’s cargo locally. Accordingly, I bowed out of the partnership in honour of his preference to go it alone, and if readers check the company registry office it will show that Tim Tepaki is nowhere to be found in MISL’s documentation. This of course makes a mockery of Shippa asking when can Mataroa creditors expect to be paid by me as guarantor, because it never happened.

So far as I know the old man paid his dues, and Shippa insults the old man’s integrity by saying Mataroa owed unpaid debt.

Perhaps this unholy ghost Shippa might like to put up evidence that Mataroa has debts with my name on it as settlor, because I bet he can’t, because it’s fabricated rubbish. On Shippa’s comment, about me not spending a cent and Pa Enua landowner’s losing their land if MOP’s PPP development proceeds, may I say it again;

1. The art of development is to develop a good idea and money will follow, so if MOP develops a bankable PPP development to the satisfaction of China, China will fund it under its OCP aid platform.

2.Because PPP is a unit title development China’s security for its funding will be over the units developed above the land and not the land itself, and not taxpayers, so how can China take landowners’ land?

3.Shippa is a ghost and as such, he wouldn’t understand what time and money this human spent on developing this PPP development for the Pa Enua. So I won’t bother telling him, save to say that I will be paid $3 million for scoping the PPP development if the project proceeds, so go eat your heart out!

As always, my letters are intended to help!

            Tim Tepaki
