Dear Editor,

John Scott’s letter in last Saturday’s CINews issue was timely, made for excellent analysis and confirmed just why it is that Radio NZ and the New Zealand government, refer to our current caretaker government, as a “caretaker government”.

Because that is what they are, as succinctly pointed out by Scott in his informative article.

My own analysis of caretaker PM Puna’s reason for proceeding with this absurd action to swear in three new cabinet ministers is simple. In my opinion there is an awful lot of panic and desperation in the CIP camp, and they’re simply running around like headless chickens, with a huge emphasis on “chicken”, because that’s what they are! They have absolutely no qualms about their intentional abuse of power, and continued wastage of taxpayer’s monies, as they continue to pursue this hare-brained scheme of theirs. It is likely to have cost a huge amount of money that could have been saved if Puna and the

CIP had just awaited the final outcome of the court petitions.

In any case John Scott, keep up the great mahi, because as the saying goes, “What goes around, comes around!”
