Brown challenges Demo claims

Thursday January 18, 2018 Published in Letters to the Editor

I cannot believe the drivel that James Beer writes.

Can he tell us the name of the person who told him what was discussed in our meeting with New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern?

Either James has been lied to by this person or he has deliberately misled the public.  Please James, tell us your source or confirm that you made this whole tale up by yourself. Another piece of misinformation he writes is that I have said that (the government) wanted UN membership so we could borrow from the World Bank.

Show me where I have ever said that James, because it isn’t true.

During our holiday season both Wilkie (in his Monday column in CINews) and James have been unable to come up with any new ideas for our country and have fallen back to making up facts and indulging in unfounded speculation over meetings they were never part of.

If this is what we can expect for this year from the Demos, then please relegate their columns to the cartoons page next to Hagar the Horrible.
