Proud of our netballers

As parent supporters of the Cook Islands netball team who recently participated in the Singapore Mission Foods Nation’s cup 2017, we wish to extend our special acknowledgement to the coaching management team for their outstanding contribution.

To Dale Atkinson (head coach) Mandy Souchon (team manager), Talia Rout (physio), and Jessica Souchon (game analyst), thanks very much for your commitment, passion and professional support to our team.

We were proud parents too, to witness some outstanding and brilliant playing by our newly capped players, who played with flair and grace, in true Cook Islands fashion.

Meitaki maata to all of you our netball fan supporters from here and overseas. It was an opportunity to meet up with our Cook Islands families living in Singapore: Leilani Brown and family, Teokotai Marsters, and Tim Murray, who were with the team all the way.  Love you all for the support. It makes all of us proud to be Cook Islanders with moments like this.

The participation of the team to compete in this tournament was also made possible by the families of the players who provided partial self-funding.

Finally, thanks to Cook Islands Netball for enabling the team to participate in this competition.

            “Netball for Life”.
