Hidden danger in island vege gardens
Gramoxone is the commercial name for the highly toxic paraquat, which was banned in the European Union in 2007. Chronic exposure can lead to lung damage and heart and kidney failure and paraquat has also been linked with Parkinson's Disease.

Dear Editor, In recent months I have noticed an increase in planting and we are all celebrating the arrival of tomatoes and cucumbers on offer at the market stalls.
