Cook Islands National Disability Council executives and members had a busy past year according to the president’s annual report tabled at the recent annual general meeting.

Consistency seems to be the key for Ngakau Toa Vaka Canoeing Club for 2014, with office bearers continuing in positions with Vaea Melvin as president, Jane Pearson as vice-president, Julie Wilson as treasurer and Dani Cochrane as secretary for yet another year.

Dear Editor, Just last week we saw the calling of Parliament to attend to some very important bills with guillotine motions to abate discussion and  those bills were rushed through without proper debate.

Dear Editor, I went to Parliament for James Beer’s inauguration and was very impressed with his maiden speech.
