Dear Editor, The picture on the front page of Thursday’s newspaper, showing Members of Parliament facing their own constituents at the front door of Parliament House ought to be hanging near the front door of every home in the Cook Islands.

The recent media announcement that the Cook Islands Party will not hold a party conference until the middle of next year is a sad indictment on the performance of the current executive of the party.
