Bluesky Cook Islands drew the Win a Christmas Experience Campaign winners on Friday last week.
The 12 lucky winners were contacted and instructed to meet at the Bluesky head office in Tutakimoa at 4pm that afternoon.
Nine of the winners gathered for the prize presentation
The remaining three victors live in the Pa Enua (outer islands), and Bluesky representatives picked up the prizes on their behalf.
By 4pm, the fortunate had gathered around Bluesky’s Christmas tree, under which there were 12 gift-wrapped boxes.
The winners were told by Bluesky marketing assistant, Theresa Taiarui that “each box was the same size, same weight and had the same wrapping paper.”
Concealed within each box was a piece of paper that would tell the winners which of the 12 prizes they had won.
Each winner selected a box and eagerly tore away at the wrapping paper. Prizes ranged from airline tickets, weekend getaways, vouchers valued at over $1000, tech devices, concert tickets, and more.
Bluesky Cook Islands country manager Phillip Henderson explained that the draw was “a continuation of support for health.”
Bluesky will donate a portion of the funds raised through the campaign towards cancer screening in the Cook Islands.
