All Cabinet ministers are in the country this week to attend the opening parliamentary sitting of the year.

The parliamentary session will start after lunch today and is expected to last more than two weeks.

There are some key issues that will be discussed in this upcoming sitting, including a number of bills which are expected to be passed.

The main agenda in this June sitting will be the 2017/18 Appropriation Budget, which will be tabled on Friday.

Finance minister Mark Brown will also make a ministerial statement while tabling the Budget in the House.

Prime minister Henry Puna was the last minister to travel overseas.

He went to New York earlier this month to attend the Oceans Conference.
