Puna's busy week in Rarotonga

PRIME Minister Henry Puna will have a busy week in Rarotonga, playing host to ministers and top ranked delegates from the region this week.

 

He will chair the South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) Council of Ministers of Tourism meeting this Wednesday at The Edgewater Resort.

The meeting will be attended by SPTOs of 17 other member countries’ tourism ministers and officials.

Puna, who is also the country’s tourism minister, is expected to facilitate discussion on sustainable tourism in the region.

Meanwhile Health minister Nandi Glassie will be back in the country this weekend.

He is in Philippines attending the 67th World Health Organisation Regional Committee for the Western Pacific meeting.

The meeting in Manila is set to start today will end on Friday.
