Puna is in Singapore attending the Airshow and Aviation Leadership Summit 2016. He will also participate in the 2nd Pacific Islands States Transport Minister’s Visit Programme.
He is accompanied by Transport secretary Ned Howard and Airport Authority chief executive officer Joseph Ngamata.
The Office of Prime Minister in a statement last week said the cost of the delegation would be met by the Singapore Government. This marks Puna’s third overseas trip this year following earlier official visits to Abu Dhabi and New Zealand.
He is expected back home later this week.
Meanwhile the rest of the ministers will be in Rarotonga this week and will meet tomorrow for their weekly cabinet meeting to discuss key issues.
