Prime Minister spending three weeks in Manihiki

Prime Minister Henry Puna will be celebrating Constitution Day at his island home in Manihiki.

He and his wife Akaiti arrived in Manihiki last week where they were welcomed at Tukao airport by the community.

They will be there to mark the Constitution celebrations at Tauhunu school with a cultural event on Friday July 31 and an official function on Tuesday August 4.

Member of Parliament for Pukapuka/Nassau Tingika Elikana were also on the flight with wife Tuaine and Mama Tuki Wright. They were flown on to Pukapuka that afternoon.

Cook Islanders will celebrate Constitution Day on August 4.
