They both want to help young people to be aware of the many job opportunities available and to help them with their well-being.
Milanovic introuduced an entrepreneurial programme to Enuamanu School which will help encourage students to achieve their goals for a brighter future and to attain goals such gaining the job of their dreams.
Due to the high cost of tertiary education, many of our students are not able to afford to get further education or choose to stay on the island. This means that an entrepreneurial programme could really benefit the students and our community, now and in the future.
Recently at Enuamanu School, Sharlene Atai has been doing sports training with the Year 8 to Year 11 classes for their physical education periods. The students really enjoyed this programme, especially the game called “Capture the Flag”.
She also showed us an interesting presentation on mindset growth. This was fascinating because many of us had never thought of our brain being like a muscle- and that it needs training!
This showed us that we are capable of achieving anything we want if we put our minds to it. This really encouraged us to be strong and determined to really set goals and accomplish them.

It was a huge celebration, with almost the whole island turning up to witness and celebrate the occasion which closed up with the best part - a great feast. Papa Puna Rau was the MC for the occasion, and it was truly a joyful and great event.
