A prayer service will be held at the Cook Islands Christian Church (CICC) at 10am on Sunday and will be attended by all denominations.

Sunday evening will see all five villages taking part in a choir and imene tuki competition.

A week of cultural competition will start on Monday and the week will end with a Constitution fishing competition on August 5 at Taunganui harbour.

The celebration will end officially with another church service at the Atiu CICC at 4pm on Sunday August 7. Government Constitution day will be observed on August 4, with prizegiving ceremonies to follow.
