Sahay was looking forward to representing the Cook Islands at the Beauty with a Purpose Charity abroad.
She said her plans for 2020 were looking “jam-packed” with new and exciting opportunities and journeys.
But all that were put on hold due to Covid-19 which forced countries, including the Cook Islands, to close their borders.
“At first, of course I was a little down about it all, because I wanted nothing more but to continue representing the Cook Islands internationally and to be a part of the Beauty with a Purpose Charity overseas! I was very excited.”
Instead of being upset, she felt extremely thankful that she wasn’t stuck in a foreign country.
“I am safe, I am healthy. I have a roof over my head and food on the table. I feel very blessed that I am dealing with missed opportunities/travels/experiences at this time, as millions of people are suffering from much worse,” Sahay said.
Sahay says she can’t dwell on things she can’t control but she can focus on her new ‘Move with Me’ campaign.
‘Move with Me’ campaign is aimed at helping and encouraging others on a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Sahay, who is a fitness instructor by profession, says she is “110 per cent” dedicated to her clients and focused on guiding and supporting them as their trainer and mentor.
