Golden Circle and Anchor are two main product suppliers for the CITC food stores and customers could go into the company’s Christmas draw by purchasing any two products from either company.
CITC food group manager Jason Burgess said there were almost 4000 entries and people could enter the draw by purchasing products from their Foodland store, CITC supermarket, Oasis Energy Centre and CITC Kavera.
“All entries from that were put into the main draw and prizes were spread out between all stores.”
Burgess said the value of the prizes was around $12,000 and entries were drawn out of a big barrel. “We wanted to promote our Golden Circle and Anchor products and run the competition through Christmas.”
Burgess said instead of having one big prize, they thought it would be better to spread the prizes out so more people could get a chance to win good quality products.
Key brands manager George George said the Christmas draw was CITC’s way of giving something back to their customers.
“You can just see on the faces of our winners, that they are so happy, and that brings us joy.
“We all know that Christmas is a time for giving and certainly it helps us celebrate our Christmas,” he said. George says those winners who weren’t able to collect their prizes should call at the CITC supermarket.
