On November 17, Badminton Cook Islands is holding a one-day primary school badminton tournament and Polynesian Rental Cars and Bikes have given 14 prizes to go for the winners.
Polynesian Rental Cars and Bikes marketing manager Charleen Heather said they wanted to surprise the winners of the primary school badminton competition with the gifts.
“We wanted to come on board to support the youth.”
Heather says their goal this year is to support youth in development with playing badminton.
“We supported the “Raro Rumble” event which was promoting youth empowerment and we are supporting Badminton Cook Islands as it’s obviously getting the youth active.
“We want to support anything to do with the schools and their development,” she said.
Shuttle Time Development Officer Hebrew Tom said the organisation was very grateful for the generous gifts and are looking forward to seeing the delight on the children’s faces when they received their prizes.
Heather says the company’s sponsorships focus on the development of youth in all areas.
