The event aims to create an avenue for youth to find purpose and live their lives with freedom and vision.
It is named after a Bible scripture, 1 Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
The group has invited 412 Christchurch, New Zealand youth pastors Jenkins and Shekinah Alaifea who lead a youth ministry of 400 people.
The couple will minister throughout the conference on youth issues and speak about how God radically changed their lives.
“The conference is an opportunity for anybody to hear powerful sermons on making great decisions now that will count for eternity,” a 412 leader said.
“The theme of the conference is ‘Face 2 Face’ - coming to that place of being face-to-face with God and experiencing God truly for one’s self.
“It is not just something that has been tradition or something that your parents know, but something that has changed you,”
The conference is free and open to anyone.
It is scheduled for Friday at 7.15pm, Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 10am and 7pm.
