The unveiling was attended by family members, close relatives, representatives from the judiciary, and old-time friends.
A highly regarded Cook Islands personality, Kenning was known for serving the country with humility, dignity and integrity and served the High Court as a Justice of the Peace for 20 years.
Kenning was born on September 27 1947 and passed away last year November 27.
JK was appointed as Justice of the Peace of the Cook Islands High Court in 1995 where he was well known for being fair and just.
Long-time friend Jack Cooper, of Trader Jacks, says JK’s death has left a huge hole in the Cook Islands community.
