The MINISTRY of Education’s Language and Cultural team presented a drama showcase featuring students from various schools as they reflected on Cook Islands Myths and Legends at the National Auditorium Centre yesterday.

The venue was packed with students, teachers and members of the public who came together to watch a presentation of the colourful historical tales of the Cook Islands.

Schools putting on performances included Papaaroa Adventist School, Titikaveka School, Arorangi School, Imanuela Akatemia and Nukutere College.

Students showcased legends involving drumbeats and the scary story of Katikatia. All of the performances were well presented and kept the audience highly entertained.
