Fisher said the educational contest was part of Road Safety Week — an event held last week to create more awareness of road safety.
The council received more than 100 entries from students who were keen to take part in the colouring competition.
“We’ve had great feedback and even a few schools asking for copies to be taken in for students which for us is great to hear in terms of participation.
“And all these kids will be learning about road safety,” Fisher said.
The contest was sponsored by the Health ministry in collaboration with Ride Rarotonga.
