All focus will be on the 12th Pacific Health Ministers Biennial Meeting which starts today at the National Auditorium.

Health minister Nandi Glassie will head the local delegation at the three-day meeting, which will cover a wide range of health issues.

The meeting also provides an opportunity to develop a unified view of health in the Pacific and sets future directions for health while building on the concept of “Healthy Islands”.

It will be attended by 125 participants from Pacific Island countries.

Meanwhile, the remaining ministers will remain in Rarotonga this week although prime minister Henry Puna is scheduled to leave the country on Thursday to attend a forum overseas.
