Healthy food choices are always available at the Punanga Nui Market and on World Food Day last year, this huge pile of lettuce sold out quickly. Director of Community Health Services, Neti Herman says many Cook Islanders are trying to eat healthier food as the obesity message sinks in.

A recent report published by the World Health Organisation has labeled the Cook Islands as the fattest nation in the world, but the Ministry of Health isn’t happy with such a negative report.
