Comedian gives some good advice

NEW ZEALAND comedian and television personality Mike King yesterday spent time with students and staff of Tereora College delivering his “Cool to Korero” sessions under his Key to Life charitable trust programme.

Soldiers from the Pacific author Howard Weddell visited Tereora College with deputy New Zealand High Commissioner Aimee Jephson to present two copies of the book “Soldiers from the Pacific” to the school yesterday.

Members of a group of senior visitors from Australia are celebrating their luck after catching a massive sailfish weighing 116 pounds off the Edgewater Resort and Spa yesterday.

The Cook Islands National Arts Theatre (CINAT) team members who represented the country at the 12th Pacific Festival of Arts in Guam were treated for a thanksgiving dinner by the government of the Cook Islands last Friday at the National Auditorium Centre. 

OVER 350 students around Rarotonga will benefit from the Shuttle Time school programme of the Cook Islands Badminton Association (CIBA).

Artist Benjamin Work presented his thought-provoking exhibition For King and Country at a well-attended function at the Bergman Gallery on Thursday night.
