The group was the runner up in the Tereora College Dragons Den Young Enterprise Scheme competition last month.
The team had the colourful bundles of bed linen designed and block printed by family members and specified that they wanted traditional designs in florals and patterns.
“We wanted to update the traditional pale coloured bed linen and make it something unique to the Cook Islands,” says communications director Corrine Teatai Ariki.
The group will sell their bed linen packages at the Punanga Nui Market on Saturdays and orders can be made on their Facebook page, Raro Comfort.
In the meantime, teachers and other students have been purchasing the packs and the group plans to approach motels and other sales outlets to promote their products.
