I met the energetic lively nine-year-old at the school earlier this week and I read for the first time her entertaining fairytales, created entirely in her own imagination.
Born on August 23, 2006, Fraser has two sisters, Amber and Jade. The year five student lives in Titikaveka and enjoys playing soccer.
Her favourite subjects are maths and English, and the youngster believes young children must learn to love school.
“I love coming to school; it helps us learn new things everyday and we are surrounded with a group of friends and teachers.”
Her advice to other children is to study hard and listen to their teachers and parents.
Fraser says during their lunch break pupils are given the chance to play sport, watch educational television shows and also do some creative work, which has become one of her hobbies.
It is during these sessions that Fraser sits with her friends and they get into writing their stories, bouncing inspiring ideas off each other.
Fraser’s favourite colour is light blue and she says she loves eating fruit.
She also loves to read (the story of Romeo and Juliet is one of her favourites) and her ambition when she grows up is to become a barrister.
