The Ministry of Education say literacy is a fundamental tool of everyday life, shown by these Araura College students reading the newspaper.

Today marks the opening of a new chapter for literacy growth in the Cook Islands, with the start of International Literacy Week 2015 with the theme of Literacy for Sustainable Communities.
