John Woods

Publisher John Woods entered journalism in 1970. A former editor and publisher of several community newspapers in New Zealand, the father of eight (and grandfather of 15) is now publisher of the daily Cook Islands News. He has edited a number of consumer magazines and was the founder of New Zealand Geographic. He has also worked in advertising and public relations, and is a former communications advisor for Te Puni Kokiri and parliamentary press secretary.
