Vaka captain Sam Timoko (right) passes by the original hull of Marumaru Atua as it is moved from Avatiu to the Pa Ariki palace.  Ruined by a devastating fire in 2017, the hull was left by the CITC supermarket.

The Ngatangiia/Matavera Netball Club celebrated the end of the season in style, starting the morning off with a bus ride around the island for the junior players last Saturday.

Companies from China are in the country to promote their products to the local market.

After an international outcry at the Cook Islands’ proposal to ban the acclaimed movie Rocketman, Internal Affairs has relented and given it an R18 rating instead.
