Plea for help in identifying photo taken back in 1950s

Only some of the people in this photograph, thought to have been taken in Arorangi in the early 1950s, have been identified.

At the back (left) is Ani Pirangi, while third from left is Matakaiariki Wichman. Second from right at the back is Rei Wichman her husband Pupa.

In the middle row (second from left) is Nii Joinville Cowan, and on the right is Teta Puri. In the front row lying down is Poko Exham Heather, while wearing the ei in the front, second from right, is Metua Tongia.

Winnie Wichman, who brought the photo into CINews a couple of weeks ago, says she would very much like to be able to identify the other people in the photo. If you know who they are, phone her on 71557.
