The Cook Islands Police Service has recovered a quantity of items in the execution of search warrants recently and is providing an opportunity for the public to view these items and possibly claim ownership of property, which may have been stolen.

The items are all electronic goods, including cellphones, tablets and hard drives.

Viewing times are currently set for Monday, August 20, to Wednesday, August 22 (inclusive), between 12 noon and 1pm.

Interested parties may visit the National Police Headquarters in Avarua to inspect the items but will be required to verify ownership with the appropriate documentation or information such as receipts and/or serial numbers, should a claim be made. No items will be released until such verification is provided.
