Three years ago, the Muri night market housed a couple of stalls a few nights a week and tourists dotted the picnic tables in the heart of Rarotonga’s tourism centre.

Punters were treated to good beer, good food and good old fashioned island grooves at the much loved Matutu Brewery Okotopafest on Saturday afternoon.
With the hum and clatter of the coffee machine, the rustic and stainless steel interior and the sweet tunes, you could be forgiven for thinking you were sipping a flat white in Wellington rather than sitting in Salt Cafe and Art Gallery in Avarua, Rarotonga.
