The Cook Islands Rugby Union has made an official complaint to Oceania Rugby and the Tahiti Rugby Union regarding ineligible players that were used in the controversial 13-9 loss the Cook Islands suffered on Constitution Day.

Tupapa had a close scare in the rugby competition, requiring a last minute penalty goal to triumph over Takuvaine 33-31 and remain unbeaten.

Oceania Rugby is looking into the possibility of making the Cook Islands the host of an annual under 20s rugby competition, which would start this November.
