GLAMOUR met island roots last week at The Crown Beach Resort and Spa as Miss Pacific Islands Latafale Auva’a make her debut in the Cook Islands.

Auva’a is here in the Cook Islands to officially launch the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant for 2015, which is to be hosted here in December by the Miss Cook Islands Pageant Association (MCIPA).

Dressed in elegant island formal-wear, the reigning pageant queen mixed and mingled among guests with the support of our very own Miss Cook Islands Felicia George and former Miss South Pacific Teuira Napa. With a delectable full dinner buffet set out at an award winning restaurant, and a local band providing that relaxed island ambiance, the event was the place to be.

CI News was there to capture the pageant powerhouses, pageant royalty, and Cook Islands diplomats there to support the launch.
