Take a stroll down memory lane at the annual Rotaract Junior Spring Ball this Saturday.

Yes, it’s that time of the year again where tamariki aged from five to 12 years old are invited to join in the fun and celebrate the Cook Islands 50th year of self-governance.

There will be finger food, spot prizes and a photographer, so make sure you dress to impress to this year’s theme, “Once Upon a Time in 1965.”

So Mums and Dads, whether you have to dust off your old time favourites or get creative with a fresh dance costume, dress your child in their favourite traditional wear, muumuu, dance costume or pareu wear. Remember, anything goes!

Not to be left out, children under five can attend the event too but must be accompanied by a parent throughout the evening.

This year’s ball will be held at the Sinai Hall in town from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by contacting Cheryl McCarthy 56179, Pauline Dean 71002 or Daniel Fisher 78004.

All proceeds will go towards projects in Mangaia.
