Most, people are afraid of dying. Some people fear being dead, while others are afraid of actually dying. Accompanying these thoughts is the constant fear of the unknown or that when we die we cease to exist, we are no more, it is the end, we are finished.

The pressures and demands of life will always lead to spiritual decline if we are not intentional about pursuing and cultivating our relationship with God.

Cook Islanders are becoming increasingly concerned with purity.  We want to drink pure bottled water.  We want to breathe pure air.  We want to eat pure food. 

The Bible is filled from beginning to end with statements of what God is able to do and will do for those who are his people.  Here are seven verses which, when put together, cover almost all the fundamental doctrines of Christianity.

In the aftermath of the Christchurch attack, people everywhere are once again reminded of the vulnerability of life. That our lives today, can be taken from us in a matter of seconds.

Many blessings of sovereignty

We find true freedom when we are willing to accept reality as it is (including God’s rightful and effective sovereignty over all his creation) and when we allow him to make us into all that he would have us be.  The matter of God’s Sovereignty, far from continuing to be an offence to us, can become a wonderful doctrine from which we derive great blessings.
