Where an advertisment relates to an activity that is carried
out in the Cook Islands or an item to be sold or rentedin the Cooks, or vacancy filled in
the Cook Islands then VAT is payable on the advertisement.

Please be advised we provide 2 different subscription services, either local or overseas.
1. Cook Islands News subscription (actual newspaper):
6 months - 150 issues - NZD $286.50.
1 year - 300 issues - NZD $573.00.
The newspapers are posted once a week (bundle of 6 issues) and will probably reach your destination 4 days to 1 week later.
2. Email subscription:
3 months - NZD $30
6 months - NZD $55.
1 year - NZD $100.
This service is sent out daily via email in plain text formats and consists of: all local stories, events, sports, letters to the editor, smoke signals and classified advertisings. For other features &
photos you can access via our website, however our website is updated only once a week.
